My greatest success in art this semester was the 2D drawing of the totem pole. I think I was successful with this piece because I could choose anything to draw, so it was in my interests and I felt like I took my time drawing, and choosing the colors.
What I would like to improve on in the future if I had art agian would be managing my time on projects we did, because when you miss a couple of days it's hard to take your time on making up the work because of the due date coming soon. So in the future I will not be absent as much and focus on my project rather than talking to people.
My favorite project this year was actually everything we did, because I've never have had an art class in my high school career and everything we did I learned so much. For example, like the history of totem poles. I've never even heard of them before I took this class, and Batiking.
My least favorite out of all the projects we did was probably the Batik bag, thats only because I didn't manage my time very well with it so I wasn't taking my time when I was using the wax to outline my image onto my bag. I also think this was my least favorite project because it didn't turn out the way I wanted it too. If I were to do it agian I would take more time on it.
If I had art again, I would really like to create anything that Anna assigns, because no matter what it is, I can add my personality in the peice in some kind of way and I really like that. So if I can do that than I would love to try anything :]
